Community involvement has been part of Cargill Vietnam since our beginnings in the mid-1990s, where our first community project was to raise US$2,000 to build a playground for handicapped children. Since then, Cargill’s contributions to Vietnam have grown to include:

Awards & Recognition

For our corporate responsibility efforts, we have received a host of awards including:

  • U.S. Secretary of State’s Award for Corporate Excellence (2016)
  • Labor Order Grade 3 – Cargill was the only foreign company to earn this highest government award for a business in Vietnam (2009)
  • Social Empowerment Award -  Cargill received this award from Enterprise Asia for its corporate responsibility efforts in Vietnam (2011)
  • Award from Minister of Education and Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Thien Nhan for school-building efforts (2007 and 2009)
